Its users receive all information on the energy output, the amount of money generated by the feed-in scheme and the amount of saved CO2 at a glance. The time period for the information collection can be selected as a day, week, month, year or the total lifetime of the PV system. Error reports from the system are kept in a logbook. The application can be downloaded free from the Apple AppStore.
¡°The Voltapp is the latest addition to our system monitoring portfolio and is a response to the wishes of many customers to be able to have access to their installation data at anytime anywhere,¡± explains Jana Krinizin, Product Manager Monitoring Residential for Voltwerk. ¡°The App receives the data from our internet portal so the mobile solution is an absolutely fully-fledged application without restrictions,¡± continues Krinizin.
Optimizing Energy Consumption
The energy flow is displayed in an easy-to-view bar chart showing PV production, feed-in, consumption of PV electricity, energy supply and the total amount of energy used.
Pie diagrams can also be displayed for direct comparisons and for immediate information on the ratio of income, electricity consumption and PV power use.
The readings displayed and time period are freely configurable and the user can select the information he would like to see and display it easily in a single graph.
A pre-requisite for using the Voltapp is registration of the system on the internet portal www.voltweb.de.
